In today's edition, we're going to diveinto repainted miniature dolls. At present, there are two kinds of miniaturedolls: ob11 dolls and bjd dolls.
The difference? ob11 dolls come with mechanical joints (their hands and feet can be easily inserted and pulled out)and bjd dolls are made of stretch band, which is not easy to remove their limbs.
Besides, ob dolls have many sizes such as ob24 and ob27. ob11 means 11cm, but the doll is shorter than 10 cm in plain sight, and bjd dolls also come in various sizes.

To some extent, the steps are similar to that of make up actually. 3 steps: Remove the original paint -> Add pigment-> Paint gloss oil.
For the 1st step, you can usethe nail polish without big smell, and for pigment, you can choose from creamyones and powdery ones to meet your own needs. And you need tools such asscriptliner to get the process done. Afterwards, you need to use spray to makethe pigment last longer. Then goes the last step: paint gloss oil. Watery eyesand burnish lips are all created by using gloss oil. You can use nail polishinstead, though it’s not as thick, the effect is not as good as gloss oileither.
Repainting a doll with big eyes can bea big challenge because it's hard to do it without touching its eye balls. Tryusing silly putty to cover the eye balls when you spray.
Another method of adding eyeballsapplies to Kurhn dolls, which is kind of brutal. First, the hair has to bepulled out, and the the location of eyes have to be cut out and trimmed, so asto be as symmetrical as possible. Then the back of the head should also beopened, making it easier to put in the eye balls later, and then is the methodof repainting mentioned before. You don’t need to draw any eye (given that eyeballs will be put in, but you can stick eyelashes or draw some as well). Youhave to stick eyelashes after matting, which should be done at the same timewith painting gloss oil. Done well, the eyelashes will look so good. The laststep? Put on the wig and call it a day!
 The following is a momoko miniature doll featuring aminor repainting. Its original paint was too light, and with a darker color, itlooks more vivid. Momoko thought the doll was so expensive and ugly, and didnot know why so many people wanted to buy it? Later, she was fascinated bythese dolls. She traded a lot, all of which were left with the original paint.Sand is called cataract in this community, because such dolls looks so dull dueto light paint. With the idea of making her look different, we used dark-colorpaint, and she looks totally stunning.
