Genshin Impact Version 5.2: A New Subregion and the Mystery of Ochkanatlan

Genshin Impact has unveiled details about a new subregion debuting in the upcoming Version 5.2.  The game's expansive world, Teyvat, comprises seven major regions, six of which have been introduced so far.  Natlan, the most recent addition, arrived with Version 5.0. When a new major region is added, HoYoverse often expands it through smaller subregions that share thematic elements with the main area. Ochkanatlan offers exploration beyond its foggy ruins, with legends hinting at a hidden secret above the city.  One screenshot teases the ability to soar high into the skies, sparking fan speculation.  Many believe the great dragon could be the Pyro Dragon, one of Genshin Impact's Seven Sovereigns, and hope for its introduction as a playable character. This wouldn’t be unprecedented, as the previous Archon Chapter introduced Neuvillette, a reincarnation of the Hydro Dragon.  Some fans have even speculated about a Pyro counterpart to Neuvillette, who is currently one of the strongest Hydro DPS units. Neuvillette himself may return soon, as HoYoverse has confirmed his appearance in the Phase 2 banner for Version 5.2.  The first part of the update, launching on November 20, will debut two new characters: Chasca, a five-star Anemo DPS, and Ororon, a four-star support unit.
