Dear Superbuy Users,
Superbuy’s goal is to provide our users with the best services available, although our labor and warehouse costs are increasing, our domestic logistics lines are still competitively priced. We barely get any profit from our domestic shipping.
However, we noticed that some users are using our domestic logistics line way too often, although we still managed to fulfill other users’ return/exchange requests and occasional domestic parcel forwarding requests, it has caught our attention that a lot of resources were wasted. The problem impacted our work efficiency and service quality. The profits we get from our domestic logistics line barely cover the cost of logistics, warehousing, and labor. We are under a lot of pressure and we will have to find a way to handle the problem.
Superbuy team wants to make sure that the majority of our users can still enjoy our fast and quality services, so we thought carefully and decided to make the following changes:
We will set a limit to our free services (normal return/exchange requests and products that can only be shipped domestically are excluded), and when you exceed the limitation, a service fee will be charged.
The rate will be 8 RMB/ sub-order (DI+numbers) that are included in a parcel:a. no bar is set for minimum or maximum fee-total for any parcel;
b. first parcel (with no more than 15 sub-orders) submitted in any month shall be charged no service fees;
c. first parcel include include N nos of sub-orders (N≥16), service fees will be charged 8*N, and parcels submitted later that month will be charged accordingly.
In example, a customer is submitting 16 sub-orders into a parcel, it is the very first one of the month, service fees charged for this parcel will be 8*16= CNY 128; he then submitted another parcel with 1 sub-order included, fees will be charged is 8*1= CNY 8, and parcels that submitted later that month will also be charged, regardless of the nos of sub-orders included in one parcel.
Exclusions:
a.DI is restricted and it can only be shipped domestically.
b.DI in a normal return/exchange request. For parcel forwarding and self-purchase orders, the service fee will not be charged under the following circumstances: wrong size, wrong style, defective, wrong information, missing product, or wrong color.
The changes mentioned above will be effective on Aug 21, 2018 (Beijing Time).
The service fee we charge will not cover our actual cost since we are not trying to get more profits by charging the fee. We just want to make sure that users do not take advantage of our domestic shipping line, so we can fulfill most of our users’ requests efficiently. Superbuy’s goal has never changed, we want to provide our users with the best services available, so we have to charge the service to ensure that our standard free services are properly utilized, and you can always select the premium service when necessary.
