The notices on Must-Knows Before Sending Seeds via Australia Post and Brazil Post are as follows:

1. Australia Post claims that it has recently discovered many cases of false declaration of seeds in small parcels imported there. It asks post offices in other countries to inform senders to keep their declarations accurate and comprehensive. 2. Brazil Post claims that recently it has found seeds in some imported shipment (especially small parcels). It asks post offices in other countries to inform senders not to send seeds or farm produce to Brazil without permission. Please do not send prohibited items, and truthfully declare what’s inside the shipment to the customs, so as to avoid getting the shipment returned, confiscated or destroyed due to import bans. Consequences arising from violations of the rules shall be borne by you.

Some untrustworthy online sellers have been sending packets of seeds instead of the actual item ordered to Australian customers. ( most probably dodgy amazon sellers to generate fake reviews.) These seeds can be very harmful to native Australian vegetation. Please respect Australian Bio-security.
