Upon notice from logistics providers, due to flight cancellations as well as enhanced epidemic prevention and control measures implemented by destination countries caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, parcels shipped via any logistics routes including EMS, Hong Kong DHL and Mainland China DHL have sees significant delays. Under the special circumstances, to ensure you receive the epidemic prevention products such as masks ASAP, Superbuy makes some adjustment to the service of Mainland China DHL, in which your parcels will be shipped by DHL directly instead of DHL agents so as to minimize delays. This adjustment will be effective starting 20:00, 31 Mar., Beijing Time (subject to the submission time of parcels). If you want to send epidemic prevention products such as masks and protective suits without liquid, powder or batteries, we suggest that you select Mainland China DHL, and keep the weight of your parcel below 10KG with declared value below USD660. Masks should be sent separately (not in the same parcel as other products) to ensure they are less likely to be inspected and returned.
Meanwhile, per feedback from DHL, starting April 1, the sender will pay a punitive surcharge of CN¥450 / parcel if the parcel is inspected and determined as "parcel with low declared value" by the customs (i.e. the real value of the parcel is not declared truthfully). If your parcel is determined as "parcel with low declared value" by DHL, the surcharge will be borne by you. The logistics routes subject to this policy include Hong Kong DHL, Mainland China DHL, Wuhan DHL and Heavy Cargo Standard Express. Please enter the declared value carefully and reasonably, and pay attention to the inbox messages after parcel submission.
